Content Overview:
The session will explore the role of international cooperation projects from the perspective of a Caribbean higher education institution. It will include:
Introduction to Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects and their objectives within the international cooperation framework.
INTEC’s experience as a partner institution in Erasmus+ Capacity Building projects.
Administrative and coordination aspects of project implementation at institutional level.
Lessons learned and best practices from project implementation in Caribbean universities.
Information about the lecturer:
Cristal has over a decade of professional experience spanning higher education, internationalization, engineering services, quality management, and institutional coordination. She currently works at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) as a Special Project Manager in the Institutional Mobility Office, where she supports international cooperation initiatives, academic mobility, and strategic international projects. Previously, she served as a consultant (2019–2022) at INTEC, contributing to institutional projects and advisory processes related to international engagement. Earlier in her career, she also worked at INTEC as a Student Exchange and Mobility Assistant (2007–2011), gaining early experience in international academic programs.
